When Lawn Love released its 2025 ranking of the Cities Where Lawn Care Services Cost the Most Green, they scoured six key metrics across 460 U.S. metro areas – including mowing frequency, watering costs, yard size, and household income share – to determine which cities squeeze your budget the hardest.
The study included eight Indiana cities, and I was surprised by the results, which would be an understatement. I never would have predicted which areas emerged as the state’s most and least expensive for lawn care.
