SELMA, Calif. (FOX26) — Pinky Paws Rescue, a nonprofit dedicated to saving lost, abandoned, and senior pets, is making an urgent plea to the community as it faces the possibility of losing its property.
The rescue operates on 2.5 acres in Selma, a space described as the “heart of the rescue” and a safe haven for animals awaiting a second chance.
However with mounting veterinary bills, $2,850 for August alone, alongside car repairs, fuel costs and an ongoing battle against a severe tick infestation, the organization has fallen behind on its September and October mortgage payments…
