Louisville homicide unit investigating falling death of 5-year-old

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — A death investigation is under after a 5-year-old boy in Louisville died from a fall earlier this week.

The Louisville Metro Police Department was called just after 3 p.m. on Tuesday to a home on the 2900 block of Conestoga Avenue to look into a report that a child had sustained traumatic injuries from a fall.

Officials told FOX affiliate WDRB that the 5-year-old was taken to Norton Children’s Hospital, where he died on Wednesday.

LMPD said its homicide unit has taken over the investigation due to the severity of the child’s injuries…
