MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — An 18-year-old man is facing charges after allegedly contacting someone about items listed for sale on Snapchat and then robbing them during a meeting at the Pepper Geddings Recreation Center in Myrtle Beach.
Emanuel Alexander Campbell and the victim agreed to meet at the center at 3205 N. Oak St. on Saturday to make the transaction, according to an arrest warrant. When the victim arrived, Campbell allegedly pretended to be getting money from his vehicle but instead retrieved a gun.
He then “placed the firearm under his arm and then gathered the victim’s items and left,” the warrant said. After being arrested on Monday, he gave a statement to authorities saying that he intended to use the gun to intimidate and rob the victim…
