One person arrested following drug bust in Florida

FLORIDA — A Pensacola man was arrested Tuesday after deputies allegedly found a large amount of methamphetamine during a traffic stop, the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Deputies stopped the vehicle around 11 p.m. near W. Street and Airport Boulevard. ECSO said Deputy Harry Green and his K9 partner, Mallory, assisted in the stop, with Mallory alerting officers to the presence of drugs in the car.

A probable cause search reportedly uncovered 233 grams of methamphetamine packaged for sale, $10,670 in cash, and a semi-automatic handgun…
