Data Report: How the City responded to homelessness Aug. 25-31

The City of Sacramento has released its weekly progress report for the City’s Incident Management Team (IMT) responding to homelessness.

From Aug. 25,-31 the City of Sacramento received 657 calls to 311 customer service related to unsheltered individuals.

These calls resulted in 1,864 “cases” being opened, a new data category the City began including on July 28, 2025. The addition of this category reflects the City’s efforts to better inform the public of its ongoing work to address the homelessness crisis as well as upgrades made to the 311 reporting system…
