Annual Black Food Festival returns to Sacramento for 6th year

(FOX40.COM) — The 6th Annual Black Food Festival returns to Sacramento as one of the most exciting end-of-summer events, organizers Ade’jah Accius and Berry Accius said.

From noon to 6 p.m. guests can indulge in the meals created by Black-owned food vendors on Sept. 7 at 2215 Florin Road.

The event will also feature live entertainment, including DJs and cultural performances, craft drinks, cocktails, desserts and a local artisans market.

“REMEMBER, the mission of the Black Food Fest is to celebrate Black excellence through not just food but also with our talents and gifts in music, dance, art, and literature,” the organizers said. “We want to empower, embolden, provide space and marketing opportunities for Black chefs and businesses; and motivate aspiring visionaries and entrepreneurs wherein they can further network and build relationships.”…
