A new indie movie filming in Central New York is seeking extras for a key scene.
“The Sentinel,” written and directed by filmmaker and actor Joe Cunningham, is a new project centered on a combat veteran struggling to care for his young son while dealing with severe PTSD. At least 50 extras are needed for the film’s final scene, which will be a wake.
The scene will be shot Sunday, Sept. 7, at the American Legion Eastwood Post 1276 at 3701 James Street in Syracuse, N.Y., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Extras will be wake attendees and should dress accordingly, according to a casting call…
