Toledo drummer’s case continued, likely headed toward mediation

A court case involving a South Toledo man who believes he was wrongfully charged for playing his drums could be headed to mediation.

Patrick Chaney appeared in front of Judge William Connelly, Jr., in Toledo Municipal Court on Thursday, where his case was continued until Oct. 14. That meeting is set for attorneys only.

Judge Connelly suggested that the parties resolve the matter through mediation. If mediation is not a possibility, a visiting judge may be appointed, the judge said…
