AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Amarillo Police Department reported that two people were arrested following a morning chase and SWAT situation in the City View neighborhood on Thursday.
According to police, Eric Hill, 21, and Malik Butler, 21, were arrested following a chase with police that ended in a home in the 4000 block of Sierra.

On Thursday, APD Motor Officers attempted to stop a car in the City View neighborhood. Police said the vehicle was owned by someone with a felony warrant. The driver was reported to have refused to stop for police and evaded officers in the neighborhood.
APD said the driver stopped the car and the occupants ran on foot. The passenger, identified as Butler, was caught and placed into custody. The driver, identified as Hill, was found in a home in the 4000 block of Sierra after an investigation…
