- El Paso Fire Department responded to I-10 eastbound near the Lomaland Dr. offramp after reports a serious semi-truck rear-end crash into several vehicles.
- 9 People were reported with injuries. One person suffered serious injuries, 5 others suffered minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital. 3 others were evaluated at the scene but refused transportation to the hospital.
- The preliminary reports indicate the semi-truck driver did not stopped on time after traffic slowed down and rear-ended several vehicles. It’s unknow what cause the driver to not stop on time.
