More than 300 programs that Oklahomans rely on are not being renewed

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – 573 contracts with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services are under review, and more than 300 of them are not being renewed.

In May, lawmakers forced the agency’s head, Alli Freisen, to step down.

The agency had a $30 million hole in its budget, the result of overspending and mismanagement.
