KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One child is dead and another was taken to a hospital after a reported medical incident inside a car in Johnson County, Kansas on Wednesday.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Office and Johnson County Med-Act responded to the incident on eastbound Kansas Highway 10 and Kill Creek Road, near De Soto, around 5:30 p.m.
The sheriff’s office says the child’s death wasn’t due to a crash, but didn’t say more about what exactly the medical incident was. They said one adult was in the vehicle, but make no mention of an injury or hospitalization for that person…
