Arrest made in deadly Wichita Old Town shooting

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – An arrest has been made in connection with a deadly shooting in Wichita’s Old Town on Labor Day.

On Monday at 1:40 a.m., the Wichita Police Department responded to the shooting in the 100 block of N. Rock Island. They found 23-year-old D’Andre Rubio-Glover of Wichita suffering from a gunshot wound. Rubio-Goover died at the hospital. Detectives learned that a fight had taken place before the shooting occurred.

According to booking sheets, a 21-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the homicide of Rubio-Glover. He was booked on suspicion of first-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon. KSN News does not name suspects until they are charged…
