SLED: Management at Spartanburg Co. gas station charged with lottery fraud

GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) said a 20-year-old was charged after caught with counterfeit lottery tickets.

According to arrest warrants, Luke Michael Nickles unlawfully passed a quantity of South Carolina Education Lottery scratch off tickets at the Spinx located at 3926 Bible Church Road in Boiling Springs. He redeemed the tickets and received cash payouts.

Officials said Nickles was caught on video stealing the tickets and cashing the tickets at the store without paying for them while he was employed there as management…
