MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A Silver Spring man was arrested in connection with a deadly shooting that happened more than two years ago, authorities announced Wednesday.
The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) said the charges against 47-year-old Jason Duane Moore stem from a shooting that happened in the early morning hours of Dec. 2, 2022, at the Summit Hills apartment complex.
Just after 3 a.m., MCPD responded to calls of a shooting that reportedly happened near the complex, in the 8500 block of 16th Street. There, they found 29-year-old Nathaniel Potts of Silver Spring suffering from gunshot wounds.
