The Oklahoma County Commission approved on Wednesday nearly $380,000 to remove contaminated soil at the site of the future county jail.
In April, work crews at the site of the new jail near Southeast 15th Street and Grand Boulevard reported “very wet” soil, which did not meet compaction standards conducive to construction.
