Man hospitalized after being shot in the head in southwest San Antonio, police say

SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police say a man is in the hospital after he was shot in the head on the city’s southwest side on Wednesday night.

Officials said the shooting happened just before 10 p.m. on the 10000 block of Briggs Avenue. The man was able to pull over off I-35 at Cassin Road and call for help after police said he was shot with a shotgun.

The man was taken to a local hospital and at last check, he was in stable condition. It is unclear at this time how severe his injuries are…
