Suspect Arrested After Firing at Police Following Charlotte Shooting Incident

A man was arrested Tuesday night after firing shots, including at police officers, on 8500 block of North Tryon Street in Charlotte. Officers responded to a call about an assault with a deadly weapon shortly after 10:30 p.m. and found shell casings at the scene, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department (CMPD).

Based on a witness description, officers located a suspect at a nearby hotel. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department identified him as Lance Wade Graham, 36.
