South Euclid city worker gives police from same city hard time about barking dogs

SOUTH EUCLID, Ohio — A caller reported Aug. 28 that a dog had been barking at a neighboring home on Tamalga Drive for the past 15 minutes.

Responding officers spoke to the resident through a Ring doorbell about the situation. He said it was OK because the dogs were inside a sunroom in the house, and they could cite him if they wanted.

The man indicated that he worked in the city’s building department and officers subsequently found him working at city hall. He was uncooperative when asked for his ID and said that he could not be arrested because he was actively working for the city…
