Man arrested after high-speed chase ends at Sailor Bar in Fair Oaks

(FOX40.COM) — A man was arrested by the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit after a pursuit ended at Sailor Bar in Fair Oaks.Video above: Daycare worker arrested on child sex abuse charges

According to the sheriff’s office, the pursuit began with the California Highway Patrol at 11 p.m. on Sept. 2 in Fair Oaks but officers lost sight of the vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office North Patrol Deputies later located the vehicle speeding near Sunset Avenue and Sunrise Boulevard after the CHP ended its pursuit.

The sheriff’s office said attempts were made to stop the car, but the driver, later identified as 19-year-old Connor Slape, refused. He drove through multiple stop lights, signs, struck at least one other vehicle, drove on the wrong side of the road and reached speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour, the Sacramento County Sheriff said…
