LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Just over a decade ago Haley Irwin envisioned a non-profit to help families who face financial hardship by providing their dogs or cats with food.
Five years ago, Haley died in a car crash and her mother Erin said she wanted to carry on the vision her daughter had so many years ago.
“From the time she was gone, I said I need her life to mean something more than just that,” Erin said. “I had talked to my husband and her two best friends and said do you want to be apart of this and we just kept talking about it and talking about it, and this was the fifth anniversary of her passing and it just felt like the right time.”…
