YPSILANTI, MI– People lined up early Saturday for an annual end of summer event that allows dogs to take over a Washtenaw County park pool for a day of unleased fun.

The Washtenaw County Parks & Recreation Department opened the pool at Rolling Hills County Park at 660 Stony Creek Rd. in Ypsilanti to pet owners eager to check in and let their dogs roam free.

The Saturday, Sept. 6 event cost $5 per dog and pre-registration was required.
