During the early morning hours of Saturday, at approximately 1:45 am, deputies attempted a traffic stop on a white Chevy Impala near the 5400 block of Highway 58. The vehicle fled, initiating a pursuit which would cover multiple roadways before the pursuit was temporarily terminated. The vehicle was located again approximately ten minutes later, leading to a second pursuit where the suspect rammed two patrol cars.
This pursuit continued with the suspect traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of I-75 before crashing into the median near mile marker 353 on northbound I-75. The driver, Dekendrick Trammell, fled on foot, but was apprehended without further incident…
