COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – If you spent some time outside today, you probably noticed it’s starting to feel much warmer. High temperatures topped out in the low 90s in many places throughout the Valley today – for the first time in a while. The heat is going to continue building over the next few days, with high temperatures climbing closer to the mid-90s by Saturday. With that being said, hot and dry is the big story right now. We will stay mostly clear overnight, and have plenty of sunshine tomorrow. Saturday, we will see some more clouds around and a slightly higher chance of a shower popping up, but overall most of us will stay dry. Rain coverage remains around 10-20% over the next week, so it is a great time…..
