Cat tourism is on the rise and the Virginia Cat Festival is catnip for those who really, really love cats

The Virginia Cat Festival, which occurs in early November in Williamsburg, Virginia, is a weekend-long event that is something of a ‘meow’ haven for those who love cats and will include cat-centric vendors, cat videos, and family-friendly feline-centric activities.

There’ll even be cat-centric entertainment, including MoShow the Cat Rapper to Drennon Davis, known for his series about talking business cats . There’ll also be cat expert-led workshops and panel discussions, including participants such as Arden Moore, a former Catster magazine nutrition columnist and Kate Benjamin, founder of “Hauspanther” known for her work on “My Cat From Hell.”

If that’s not, well, catty enough, there’ll also be a parade of cats in costume, and things will wrap up with the Jellicle Ball and a screening of the CatVideoFest…
