Rochester N.Y. — Highland Hospital welcomed a special visitor Thursday, as Sasha, a golden retriever therapy dog, made her rounds spreading smiles and joy.
Sasha, who has been a therapy dog for six years, regularly visits hospitals, schools, libraries, and nursing homes, bringing comfort and happiness wherever she goes.
“It’s the best, best day ever, she’s so cute, she let us pet her. It just lifts your spirits and it helps to kind of melt that stress away for a minute and just take yourself out of our job for a second and be able to just enjoy petting and the dog and hanging out with our friends,” said Kate Scholer…
