SAN DIEGO — Parking prices are rising near Petco Park, and local business owners say the financial strain is just beginning.
A new $10-an-hour special event parking rate went into effect this week in downtown San Diego, applying during Padres games and large events. The pricing affects metered parking within a half-mile radius of Petco Park, including the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter.
