Former addicts tell stories of finding hope through local recovery church

Maybe a flyer the size of a smart phone is all it takes to change a life.

That was the case for Melanie Wilson, Tracee Martinez, and countless others who have been touched by Toledo Restoration Church, which serves families and individuals who have been affected by drugs and alcoholism through its free, live-in men’s and women’s recovery homes and its weekly worship and prayer services.

“The flyer saved my life. It’s still on the refrigerator today from 2017,” Ms. Martinez said. “They save lives. I’m telling you, the flyers do.”…
