A dog was rescued from a burning boat early Friday morning along the Portsmouth waterfront.
Portsmouth Fire Rescue & Emergency Services said crews responded around 6:20 a.m. to the 400 block of Water Street for reports of a fire on a steel-hulled vessel about 50 feet long. This is right along the Renaissance Portsmouth-Norfolk Waterfront Hotel.
