Wandering through the Museum of Texas Tech University after 25 years felt like stepping into a time machine- except the time machine had been updated with new exhibits, better lighting, and a few neat surprises I wasn’t expecting.
Childhood Memories
As a kid, I remember racing my brother past all the “boring” stuff to get to the dinosaurs. Now, with adult eyes (and less candy in my system), I wanted to take a peek inside and see what had changed, what still held up after all these years, and whether the museum was worth a Sunday afternoon vs. a nap in bed with Netflix and snacks.
Spoiler alert: some parts of the museum dazzled, others dragged on, and one display, for me, stole the show.
