WEDNESDAY, AUG. 27
• 4:22 p.m. — Troopers responded to a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 84 about 9 miles south of La Grande that took the life of Jejo Haes, 28, of La Grande. OSP’s preliminary investigation indicated that Haes was headed west on I-84 in a Ford F350 when for unknown reasons, the pickup left the roadway and crashed into a tree and landed at the bottom of a creek bed. Haes was pronounced deceased at the scene…
