RENO, Nev. — After about 100 cats were seized from a home in Reno this week, the caregiver has decided to sign over about 80 of them. About 70 are now at the Nevada Humane Society (NHS).
“Our teams are working really, really diligently to get these cats back out into loving forever homes, whether that’s through a temporary foster situation or through an adoption situation, so that they have the ability to decompress and really start to recover from this traumatic event that they’ve experienced,” Chief Philanthropy Officer for the Nevada Humane Society Melissa Davis said.
