Protesters rally outside Albany Medical Center to demand end to Medicaid cutoffs

ALBANY, NY (WRGB)— A nationwide protest organized by the Nonviolent Medicaid Army saw demonstrators in a dozen states rallying to demand an end to Medicaid cutoffs. The movement aims to unite millions of people who have been disenrolled from the program, urging local officials to take action.

“If we can unify, then we can make a movement of poor and working-class people and we can change the system,” said Bebhinn Francis, co-coordinator of the National Union of the Homeless
