HUNTSVILLE – Huntsville Police are encouraging residents to take simple precautions after noticing an uptick in car break-ins and stolen items. From January through June 2025, there were 435 reported car break-ins, compared to 385 during the same period in 2024. Between April and June, 46 firearms were reported stolen from vehicles.
