The mom of Tennessee Vols starting quarterback Joey Aguilar went viral on Saturday afternoon for her reaction to her son running through the T at Neyland Stadium for the first time.
Aguilar, who won the starting quarterback job during fall camp over true freshman George MacIntyre and redshirt freshman Jake Merklinger, led the Vols to a 45-26 win against Syracuse in last weekend’s season-opener in Atlanta. Saturday’s game against East Tennessee State was Aguilar’s first home start for Tennessee.
