AUBURN, Ala. (WSFA) – The Lee County coroner’s office has identified the victim of a Saturday homicide at Auburn’s Keisel Park.
Coroner Daniel Sexton positively identified the victim as 59-year-old Dr. Julie Gard Schnuelle, a retired Auburn University professor.
Schnuelle was pronounced deceased around 2 p.m. Saturday after APD officers found her in a wooded area within the park.
