A tragic accident on West U.S. Highway 192 claimed the life of a Davenport moped rider Sunday morning.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just east of Four Winds Boulevard just after 9:30. The 44-year-old male rider of a 2024 Zhilong Angel moped was traveling eastbound in the outside lane when he attempted to change into the inside lane. The rider lost control and laid the moped down on the roadway.
Emergency personnel responded quickly and transported the rider to Osceola Regional Hospital. Despite medical efforts, the individual was pronounced deceased at the hospital…
