Massachusetts and Connecticut women accused of Bay State shoplifting spree, captured in fast food drive thru across the street

A pair was apparently hungry after allegedly shoplifting from a Massachusetts department store. Those hunger pangs cost them.

According to police, on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at approximately 2:00 p.m., the Auburn Police Department received a report that two females had just shoplifted from TJ Maxx. According to the caller (an alert TJ Maxx employee), the suspects made off with more than $2,000 worth of merchandise before fleeing in a black Ford Edge with Connecticut plates.

The two reportedly decided to celebrate with a pit stop at the drive thru at Wendy’s directly across the street from the store…
