WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The chance for rain will depart from Kansas and a sunny weekend is ahead for much of the state. Light winds and slowly warming temperatures are on the way.
Today expect highs in the low to mid 70s with light south winds. Mostly clear skies tonight for the Full Moon, and Sunday will be just a little warmer with 70s to near 80 and a light south breeze for the area (exception; western Kansas with some south wind gusts near 25).
Next week, there will be some chances for scattered storms, but the favored areas for rain will be across western Kansas. That said, Monday night and Tuesday central Kansas could see a few storms, however they’ll be spotty…
