Colorado Springs Down Syndrome Walk raises over $100,000

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Down Syndrome Association (CSDSA) raised over $100,000 with their annual Down Syndrome Walk on Saturday, Sept. 6, when hundreds of families, friends, and community members united to support CSDSA’s mission to provide vital resources and connections to people with Down syndrome and their families.

26th annual Down Syndrome Walk this weekend

Participants had the chance to enjoy food, music, and prizes in addition to the scenic walk through Bear Creek Park, which surpassed the $100k goal and raised $109,635. Attendees had a choice between a longer walk at 2.5 miles or a shorter 1.7-mile walk.
