‘What Mica wanted:’ Benefit 5K hosted in Miller’s memory tribute to her faith

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — In life, Mica Miller was devoted to sharing the power of her faith with people around the world, guided by her favorite verse from scripture: Micah 6:8.

To help with her mission, Miller created WayMakers, a charity that raised funds for Christian-based relief efforts.

Authorities last April concluded Miller’s death at Lumber River State Park in Robeson County was a suicide. And in the year and a half since then, her sisters and growing group of supporters have worked to keep Mica’s passion going…
