A driver has been arrested on suspicion of DUI after six people died and two others were injured when a van crashed off a rural road into a tree in Napa County on Sunday afternoon, authorities said.
The crash occurred around 5:50 p.m. on Pope Valley Road, about a mile south of Pope Valley Winery. The two-lane road runs through a sparsely populated area dotted with oak trees and vineyards.
