WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Sunday was the last day of the annual Pooch Plunge at the Legion Center Pool.
The annual Pooch Plunge had another successful day at the Legion Center Pool where dozens of pups and their owners came out today to enjoy the pool and foster community.
Next year’s Pooch Plunge is already in the planner, and the date is set for the weekend after Labor Day. Lindsey Hays, Director of Aquatic Safety at Nir Family YMCA, says they hope to plan more days next year. This event always fosters a great community of dog lovers alike and supports the YMCA as well.
