Badgers land in 11th after day one of Michigan Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The Wisconsin women’s golf team sits in 11th at +38 after two rounds of the Wolverine Invitational, playing 36-holes on Sunday at the U-M Golf Course in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Maryland transfer Tammy Wu led the way in her debut, shooting +6 in two rounds and finishing in 21st. She opened her day with a +2, 73, nabbing two birdies on the opening back nine.

Sophomore Lauren Sammon sits close behind in 36th at +9 after tallying two birdies of her own on the initial front-nine. Senior Alexia Siehl finished +10 and in 41st, using a strong +3 first round to propel the Badgers…
