ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – A first-time collaboration between two area veteran organizations and OCD Car Club brought in nearly 70 cars to Rock Valley College.
Organizers said Sunday’s show is to bring the community together to raise money so the Rock Valley Veterans Club and Veterans Drop-in Center can offer vital resources to those who served.
RVC Trade program specialist Ryan Russell said 120 students use the Rock Valley Club benefits to keep veterans engaged after service. Russell added they wanted to take care of the drop-in center too because of the great work they’ve done over the years…
