A “Family Feud” contestant’s refreshingly honest take on parenthood has gone viral. When host Steve Harvey asked contestants to “Name something adults see kids do that makes them not want to have kids,” contestant Paul offered a relatable, if not survey-popular, response.
The Dermarkar family was up first, successfully guessing top answers like “Cry,” “Have an accident in their pants,” and “Eat boogers.” But it was Paul’s turn that drew laughs from the audience and Harvey himself.
“They need to be driven everywhere,” Paul declared, “and that seems pretty annoying.” Harvey’s comedic response, “That’s from the guy who doesn’t have any kids!
You gotta take ’em places,” highlighted the humor in Paul’s honest observation. While not on the survey board, the answer resonated with many parents and non-parents alike.
The Dermarkars ultimately won the round despite striking out after Paul’s answer. This wasn’t the only surprising response in recent “Family Feud” history.
Another contestant, Michael, shocked the audience and Harvey when he answered “My kids” to the prompt, “If you went to Hell, who would you expect to see in the welcoming committee?” Clearly, kids can be a source of both joy and comedic frustration, even on national television.
