Lexington, NC – Man Arrested in Ongoing Child Exploitation Investigation

Lexington, NC – A Kernersville man was taken into custody last week following a months-long investigation into alleged child exploitation, authorities said.

According to the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office, the Invictus Task Force executed a search warrant on September 4, 2025, that led to the arrest of 22-year-old Daniel Benjamin Holladay. Investigators allege Holladay was identified as a suspect after multiple CyberTip reports were filed with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in November 2024.

Officials reported Holladay has been charged with two counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He was booked into the Randolph County Detention Center, where a magistrate set his bond at $50,000 secured.
