MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Millington man was arrested for shooting and killing a dog owned by a 78-year-old cancer patient, according to Memphis Police.
Gavin Palpallatoc, 31, made his first court appearance Monday, September 8. He is charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, aggravated cruelty to animals, and aggravated abuse of a vulnerable adult following the incident on Aug. 8 at a mobile home park off Highway 51.
According to police, Palpallatoc is accused of dragging a dog from the woman’s home and killing the animal by shooting it several times. Officers found 13 shell casings on the scene.
