BRADENTON – Shortly after 2:00 a.m. on September 7, 2025, deputies responded to a residence in the 400 block of 60th Avenue Drive East in Bradenton. Upon arrival, they found two men injured—one suffering from multiple stab wounds and the other with a laceration to his head.
Both men were transported to separate hospitals for treatment. Despite life-saving efforts, 40-year-old Wednes Cleophat was pronounced dead at approximately 7:15 a.m. at Blake Hospital.
According to witnesses at the scene, the incident began as an argument between the two men. During the altercation, the suspect, identified as Jean Addition, stabbed Cleophat multiple times.
